This will be my first time being involved in an offline draft and my question is when you make your pick where do you enter it on the board, in your rosters?
Also how do you notify the league that you have made your pick and to go ahead and put the next guy on the clock?
Also where can you go to see what position the draft has progressed to?
I am guessing that the players taken will be updated on that thread as each pick is made.
With 40 rounds in the draft and 16 teams this could take a while to complete.

When the player take Jerry Rice does the commish manually make the draft pick? Does he dissappear from the player screen? How do we know who has been picked?

Once selected the team should add the player to his roster. I will try too update the Players Taken everytime someone makes a pick.

perhaps this was already discussed someplace.. but how come the draft isn't being held on the ESPN site so that "next teams" are automatically notified and players are put onto the rosters as picks are made???

We could have but now the earlier date to start is June 22. If you guys really want we could start the draft here and finish it up on ESPN starting the 22nd

That might be good for you. Otherwise you are going to have to input all 640 players on ESPN. Or can we do it ourselves as we go?

oh ok... I didn't know ESPN drafts weren't ready to start until June 22. I've never had a league on ESPN before and I assumed since the league was setup that you could draft from there too. It doesn't really matter to me, I just know that if I were the commish, it sounds like a lot of extra work to post who has been taken, put players on rosters on this site and then again later onto the ESPN site. JMHO.
